JAENI 2014
This head was built on my first ever resin base. I made the base on my own and did a quick head to test the shape using leftover white fur from Pupcake and leftover pink wig from Babydoll. The resin head was functional but there were many problems with hinging the jaw and many areas are asymmetrical. However, the overall process was successful and she was sold to a new owner and named Jaeni.
PROCESS
The resin base was made by me and the process of it's creation can be found here. After hinging with hinges casted from Dream Vision Creations and elastic, the moving jaw started to respond to the jaw. The base was pray painted black for prepping and the inner mouth was lined to hide the chin. The base was then furred with luxury grade furs and the eyes were colored buckram for vision. With elastic behind the mask to hold it to the face, the back was covered with a fur hood to hide the wearer.
